Here’s a couple shots from our recent trip to Palm Springs. 2 years of being married to your best friend is definitely something to celebrate. Just fyi: no animals were hurt during the creation of these images – just a couple people on account of landing in awkward positions.
Chris and Amanda were so fun to photograph. It was such a pleasure to celebrate their engagement with them. We all had a great time with them climbing around ocean cliffs in Malibu. Their wedding also happened to be an amazing event but you’ll have to wait a bit to see those photos. Enjoy!
Karissa and Jonas are both artists with a serious sense of personal style. Karissa spent much of her childhood in China and she used a lot international inspiration for her wedding day. She designed her own dress after 1999 Coco Chanel and coupled it with a 20 foot silk sari for her train. The day was full of artistic details including a gold-dipped bird skull boutonniere, a traditional chinese tea ceremony, and their amazing 50s chevy get away car. The ceremony was held in the Mural Room in the historic Santa Barbara courthouse – a beautiful cathedral-style room with restored paintings covering the walls. The reception was an intimate event held at the Opal – a local Santa Barbara restaurant – with amazing food and ambiance. Beyond being unique and artistic, Karissa and Jonas are genuinely great people and their wedding day was truly a joy to be a part of. We hope you enjoy!

Anyway, Zach and Loretta are awesome. We photographed them on the streets of the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles. It was killer. We’re super excited to be photographing their wedding this weekend.
