Jon and Savannah’s Wedding: Secret Garden, Moorpark, CA

These two have something seriously special together. We were so stoked when they asked us to shoot their wedding. Its hard to describe a life-changing event in just a few words. But we will tell you that this is one of those wedding that reminds Peter and I of all the reasons we got married. Jon and Savannah had a lot of love surrounding them in the secret garden where they got married. Here’s a little bit of what their day looked like.

Malcolm and Victoria’s Wedding – The Victorian, Venice Beach, CA

Once again we come to one of those blog posts that are just too long but we just can’t help ourselves. When you get to hang out with a couple like Victoria and Malcolm all day you can’t help but have some of the most fun you’ve ever had. Just to be renegades, they planned their wedding on the only rainy weekend that California has ever had. That just meant we got to play around/procure killer images in the basement speakeasy at the Victorian in Venice Beach. We felt so welcomed by this couple and their families. Despite the rain, the wedding went off without a hitch and we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful day. Malcolm and Victoria, can’t wait to hangout with you guys again!

Danny and Jenny’s Rooftop Terrace Wedding – Portland, OR

Every now and then Peter and I do really long blog posts….its not really our thing, but there are exceptions to every rule. When we come across a couple like Danny and Jenny, we just can’t help ourselves. They invited us to be a part of their rooftop wedding in Portland this summer. It was basically what one might describe as “magical.” They currently live in Los Angeles but decided to get married in downtown Portland where they first met. There’s no getting around the fact that Danny and Jenny are beautiful people, but that doesn’t just mean on the outside. It was such a privilege to see how in love these two people are. We were so happy to be able to explore and be inspired by a new city. I hope this is the first of many Portland weddings we get to photograph. Keep a look out as we will be posting some more photos from our travels through the Northwest soon!

Albert and Sherry’s Wedding – Bard Mansion, Port Hueneme, CA

Bert and Sherry’s wedding was such a privilege to be a part of. They are so incredibly in love and it couldn’t have been a more joyous occasion. Its so awesome to become good friends with the couples we photograph – we can’t wait to hang out with them again. The bride and groom both looked stunning (Bert even wore his dinosaur socks for the occasion) and the Bard Mansion was beautiful. The night ended with one of the craziest wedding dance parties we’ve witnessed complete with lasers and a smoke machine. All this to say, it was a great day and we were so happy to be involved. If you haven’t had a chance to see their engagement photos yet, click here.

Clay and Hayley – Wedding Photography, Elks Lodge, Carpinteria, CA

Clay and Hayley: Clayley. My brother James asked me to photograph a wedding with him and it was rad. You can check out his work here! Clay and Hayley are super sweet and were a ton of fun to hangout with. The Elks Lodge in Carpinteria ended up being an awesome venue and provided some killer photo opportunities. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Danny and Casey’s Rad Wedding – Santa Clarita, CA

What an awesome way to start off a new year! Danny and Casey are some of the coolest people and their wedding was such a great time. Nothing makes us happier than when a bride and groom are having a blast on their wedding day. With their awesome combination of friends and family, that’s exactly what was going on. People converged on Santa Clarita from all across the globe to celebrate this awesome union – South Africa, the UK, New Zealand, to name a few. It was truly an honor to photograph and share in this beautiful occasion!
