Rachel and Brent: Engagement Photos, Funk Zone, Santa Barbara wedding photographer

Say hello to Rachel and Brent. They like to play board games, they’re super silly together, and they are clearly going to have a very happy life together. We spent a wonderful afternoon with them drinking beer, chasing sea gulls and exploring the Funk Zone of Santa Barbara. Take a gander.

Andrew and Jenn: Smog Shoppe Wedding Photographer, Los Angeles, CA

Andrew and Jenn’s wedding was truly inspiring. Everyone withstood the triple digit temperatures with a smile on their face. These two have been together a looong time and everyone was so very excited to see them finally tie the knot. They had their reception at the Smog Shoppe in Culver City which has more style and elegance than you could ever ask for. Not to mention they added their own fabulous touches to the event. Jenn had two fabulous wedding gowns, the second being a surprise for her groom. We had such a great time photographing these two and their whole beautiful bridal party who were such good sports. We are so happy Andrew and Jenn found us and trusted up to capture this beautiful memory for them.

Andy and Kimi: Catalina Island Wedding, Desconso Beach Club, Avalon CA

Kimi and Andy’s wedding took place at the beautiful Desconso Beach Club on Catalina Island. Its only an hour from the California coast but it feels like it’s worlds away. We got to travel all around the island, shooting at the Chimes Tower, the Catalina Casino, and the secluded Desconso beach. The day was filled with ocean air and beachy breezes and a whole lotta partying. There were hula-hoops, giant bubbles, cakes being cut with swords, and some serious glow-stick action. It was a magical night and we can’t wait to visit Catalina again.

Grace and Brandon: Thousand Oaks Wedding Photographer, Private Estate, Santa Rosa Valley

Grace and Brandon were wed in holy matrimony in the presence of their friends and family. We were there to make sure that no one forgot what happened that day, among other things. We’ve known Grace for many a year and are so happy to see her find a wonderful partner for life. The reception was held in the backyard of the house Grace grew up in, which made the entire event feel very intimate and inviting. One of the best things about this wedding was the fact that Grace and Brandon spent pretty much all night dancing their faces off. There’s nothing better than when a Bride and Groom really know how to celebrate. Now go ahead and enjoy some photos of some beautiful people.

Patty and John: Engagement Photos, Ventura, California

Patty and John are pretty special. They’re the type of people that once you’ve met them, you feel like you’ve been friends with them for years. When we first hungout with them to see if we were a good fit for their wedding, we spent the first hour and half talking about traveling and various adventures. We instantly connected with them and knew that this could be the start of a great relationship. The rest is “history” as they say. A couple weeks ago Patty and John took us up into the hills of Ventura to check out their wedding location and have a picnic. After some killer food and some even more delicious champagne, we walked around the sun drenched hills with their dogs and generally had a good ol’ fashioned time. We seriously can’t wait for their wedding!

Casey and Megan – Engagement Photos, Montecito, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria

So these photos you are about to look at are of Casey and Megan. This is a really special one for me. Megan is one of my oldest friends and I couldn’t be happier that she found Casey and is getting married. They’re such a rad couple and are going to do great things together. We spent the afternoon exploring a magical forest then ended the evening watching the sunset. Kind of a normal day for Emily and I but it’s fun to bring some other people along 😉 Anyway, we can’t wait for Casey and Megan’s wedding!

Kevin and Tracy’s wedding: Montecito Country Club, Santa Barbara

It was such an honor to witness to witness Kevin and Tracy’s joyful union. Their friends and family were such a blast to hang out with. They couldn’t have picked a better location than the Montecito Country Club with its fantastic ocean views and old-word charm. Class-central. And can we mention the fact that even in the dead of winter, the sun graced the newlyweds with its warm rays all day? It was meant to be.

Take a gander.

Jerry and Desiree – Engagement Photos, Ojai, California

Its been super fun getting to know Jerry and Desiree. For their engagment session, we jumped in our car and drove up Highway 33 past Ojai and stopped whenever we saw pretty things, which was basically everywhere. Their laughter and joy was contagious and we are so excited we get to see them tie the knot this summer. Happy viewing!

David and Alaina’s Wedding: Mitten Building, Redlands, California

There’s something really special about getting married during the holiday season. Amidst the busyness of Christmas and all that it entails, it was wonderful to take a step back and see David and Alaina, two people we’ve really enjoyed getting to know, commit their lives to one another – talk about the true meaning of joy! These two said their vows at the historic Mitten building in Redlands. A new venue for us that we absolutely fell in love with! We’re so happy for David and Alaina and can’t wait to see where their life and love leads them.

Mike and Jenny – Engagement Photos, Scary Dairy, Camarillo, CA

Mike and Jenny are what you might call rad. They asked us if we’d be down to do their engagement photos at Scary Dairy – a place that is infamously haunted and generally really cool and freaky looking. We obviously said yes. Although we didn’t see any paranormal activity, Mike and Jenny seem to be abnormally in love with each other…if that’s a thing. Anyway, here’s Mike and Jenny exploring the unknown. We can’t wait for their wedding in January!
