Casey and Megan – Engagement Photos, Montecito, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria

So these photos you are about to look at are of Casey and Megan. This is a really special one for me. Megan is one of my oldest friends and I couldn’t be happier that she found Casey and is getting married. They’re such a rad couple and are going to do great things together. We spent the afternoon exploring a magical forest then ended the evening watching the sunset. Kind of a normal day for Emily and I but it’s fun to bring some other people along 😉 Anyway, we can’t wait for Casey and Megan’s wedding!

Matt and Leah’s Awesome Orchard Wedding – Private estate, Carpinteria, CA

This wedding was simply amazing. Matt and Leah inherited an avocado ranch that had been in Matt’s family since the 1890s. The ranch and the house are still mostly original and provided a beautiful and inspiring backdrop for the day. Matt and Leah are super laid back and genuine people – we had a really great time getting to know them. Their wedding was held on a sunny springtime day outside the beautiful town of Carpinteria, CA. The drive up to their house is covered in a canopy of old trees and looks like something out of a fairy tale. The ceremony and reception took place on the lawn overshadowed by an ancient redwood. All in all, it was a beautiful occasion and we felt so privileged to be asked to photograph such a special event. We had an awesome time hanging out with Matt and Leah and enjoyed taking photos and exploring their land. We are so excited to share these photos with you!

Clay and Hayley – Wedding Photography, Elks Lodge, Carpinteria, CA

Clay and Hayley: Clayley. My brother James asked me to photograph a wedding with him and it was rad. You can check out his work here! Clay and Hayley are super sweet and were a ton of fun to hangout with. The Elks Lodge in Carpinteria ended up being an awesome venue and provided some killer photo opportunities. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
