Amanda and Ryan: Palm Springs Wedding Photographer, Ace Hotel and Swim Club

Amanda and Ryan brought their family, friends, and party faces out to the magical Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. This wedding had so much style and it was beautifully pulled off by an amazing team of artists who made the day feel effortless: floral designs by Dainty Lion, rentals by Witty Rentals, hair and makeup by Amy Clarke, and planning by Beau and Arrow Events. Amanda designed her own dress because she is basically a fashion genius and as you can tell from his smolder, Ryan is a man among men. The party was an absolute blast thanks to tunes spun by the Flashdance and to all the guests who know how to get down. The night was topped off with a glorious polar bear dip in the pool – couldn’t have thought of a better ending ourselves.

Ryan and Amanda – Engagement Photos, Ace Hotel, Palm Springs, Botanical gardens

There’s just something about being in the desert. All that open space. The quiet. The otherworldly landscape is seriously inspiring. When Ryan and Amanda told us that they wanted to do their engagement session in Palm Springs we freaked out a little bit. Palm Springs is one of favorite places and we couldn’t have been more excited. We met them at the Ace Hotel (our normal haunt when we’re in town) for a day of exploring and good times. Ryan and Amanda were so fun to hangout with and we had a great time showing them around one of our favorite towns. We can’t wait for their wedding later this year!

2013 Favorites – a collection of wedding, travel, maternity, engagement photography

Well, that was a good year – it’s crazy that 2013 is over already. It’s really hard for us to look at our work objectively and so it’s hard to pick our “best” work from our many thousands of photos. These images don’t really represent the scope of our work and aren’t necessarily our “best” but they are certainly some of our favorites from this last year. We are so thankful for all of the awesome people who have trusted us to photograph them on some of the most important days of their lives. We’ve made some great friendships and seen some cool places. It’s been an amazing journey and it’s so fun to look back on this year and see the ways we’ve grown. We can’t wait for what 2014 will bring!

2 year anniversary trip: Los Angeles and Palm Springs
