Mike and Jenny’s Wedding: Anaheim historic landmark, California

Winter in California has been mild this year, but Mike and Jenny’s wedding landed on one of the few rainy days that graced the southern west coast. The perfection of their day proved right the old proverb that rain on a wedding day is good luck. The bride and groom tied the knot at the house Mike’s great-grandfather built many decades ago. The house has since been deemed a historic location and the owners were happy to allow the couple to have such a special location be a part of their marriage. Peter and I couldn’t have been more excited – usually when we are forced to photograph indoors because of the rain, we aren’t graced with such amazing light! One of my favorite things about photographing this wedding was to see the Mike and Jenny’s lightheartedness no matter what the rain brought. They were obviously only thinking of how awesome it would be to be married to their best friend at the end of the day. Please enjoy this somewhat lengthy blog post – we simply couldn’t help ourselves.

Fred and Whitney: Santa Monica Wedding Photographer, Jonathan Beach Club

Fred and Whitney’s wedding took place in sunny Santa Monica on a gorgeous Summer day. The excitement hung heavily in the air as family and friends gathered to watch these two tie the knot. After a beautiful ceremony overlooking the Pacific and a few heartfelt speeches, Fred and Whitney partied the the night away. Here are a few of our favorite images from their day.

Our 4 year anniversary: Joshua Tree, Pioneertown, CA

To celebrate our 4 year anniversary, we escaped to the desert. We stayed in a geodesic dome in the middle of nowhere and it was amazing. We also made a film about it. Check it:
